Adoption of new Canadian Electrical Code(PDF file)
The latest edition of the Canadian Electrical Code (2009) has been adopted officially as of August 6th. There is currently a transition period but the final deadline is October 10th, 2009. Any permits taken out on or after that date will be subject to the changes in the new electrical code.
